So should we be worried about the zikka virus or do y'all think they are over exaggerating it? Is there actual proof of the birth defects or is it just something they think has a link to the virus? I'm really worried bc it is warm in Texas right now and I've already seen mosquitos.

@caitlynjaye, well for that, its better to be sure to stay safe as they say "prevention is better than cure". What im certain is it sure will affect the baby once you get bitten, so i keep off lotion on my list everyday., you might wanna ask your and talk about it im pretty sure she would recommend something good for you

@hermajestypenny, is there a certain point of your pregnancy that your baby would be safe from the affects or can it affect your baby any time during your pregnancy?? And are all insect repellents safe for us to use??

Just be careful and take extra precautions, its real and its already in the US now somewhat part of florida has already been experiencing it, it worries me too because this is not a real joke, more than 4,000 cases in brazil has been reported. Ive been researching about it and the results are extremely dangerous to baby's inside the womb for it cause fetal microcephaly.,

Off lotion and other mosquito bites preventions can help so that you wont get bitten, if itf possible stay out of contaminated areas with lots of flies pr mosquitoes.

It's been linked to causing microcephaly in babies born to mothers who had Zika , however, There hasn't been any actual cases in the U.S. The people who have had it in the U.S. have gotten it while they were out of the country and then returned home. I don't think we should be worried right now.
