my best friend and mom both had bad experiences, my friend even still has nerve damaged seven years after. my other friend said they gave it too late so it didn't even matter. so I'm not getting one. I plan to use the labor tub and nitrous if I have to

mine was great! no side effects other than what it was intended for. although the spot on my back where it was hurts/gets stiff from time to time (almost 1year pp)

had it twice it was fine stung win they did it but was worth getting

please don't let my bad experience kill it for you lol but I disliked it. I had to be poked at 3 times! my experience with it in was overall good. but now, 6 months later...my back fckn kills! I get sharp pains and its hard to explain but its painful.

I was totally against getting it because I was just scared. Contractions were horrible for me (I was induced with pitocin) so I gave in. best decision I ever made. I was finally able to get some rest and I wasn't so tense and exhausted. couldn't feel a thing. labor was a breeze to be honest. I could still push but I couldn't feel any pain. and after the fact my back feels just fine.

but I will get it again! lol

i just didnt like the fact that while i was having contractions i HAD to stay still lol but it felt weird like my bottom was numb but i didnt feel any contractions so im good loo

Anyone have a "walking epidural"? It's where the dose is lower and you can still move around some. My hospital offers it.

I loved it!! I had back contractions so it was hard to be still but I am totally for epidurals. I'm expecting again & definitely getting one lol 😂
