I know this isn't the case for everyone but does anyone else in their pregnancy get somewhat offended/irritated when people say, "omg your so tiny!" I don't quite know what to say back but deep down I want to throat punch them.... I will be 34 weeks tomorrow and still not as big as most apparently would expect, but I take after my mother. She was smaller when expecting with all 3 of her children. People just make me feel shitty about being small even though my little baby is right on track health and weight wise!
I'm on the opposite side of this..I'm sick of everyone telling me how huge i am:(
I've had that happen before too. People can be cruel without even realizing it. I always try and think positive and not worry what they're saying but it sucks when it's everyone at work every single time they see you. Plus their judgements make me feel like oh ok, because I'm "so tiny" that means I don't feel all the pregnancy symptoms etc... Not true a bit.
I tiny myself an get asked are you really pregnate cause of how small I am
Yes. a doctor told me "you're so tiny". wasn't my OB or PCP. and doesn't even know how big my babies get. it feels like they're judging you
Very understandable @tayek I get sensitive about it too and thats my problem too. I'm already on the smaller side, let alone losing 30 lbs form being sooo sick my first trimester, started gaining weight back and now I'm feeling sick again... No good. But very irritating in regards to others remarks because it almost makes me feel I'm doing something wrong. But I can't help my body size.
I love when ppl tell me thay bc it makes me happy. I hate when ppl tell me I swelled up or something like that
I do. I wanted a GIANT bump and being on the smaller side, coupled with my hyperemesis & having only certain things I can eat without being sick, makes me kinda sensitive about it.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Things I never thought I'd say...
Until I became a mom:
It's funny because I feel the same exact way and my mom was the same exact way with all three of her children so I won't show much either! I'm right there with you !
