I only got 2 newborn diapers at my shower and like 9 of size 1 lol. they give you what the baby will be in the longest :) trade in is a good way to exchange for what you need at the time though.

They also have preemie diapers as well for those babies with small booties!

Depending on the size of baby.. Both my girls (7#12oz, and 7#13oz) wore them for a little while. My boy (9#3oz) went straight to size 1 because his package wouldn't fit in the newborn.

You can always exchange packages unopened is how I look at it. Or sell them

I was just talking about this with my mom and friends. I was told to have about 100 newborn diapers. Newborn diapers are usually up to 10lbs if you read the package/box. I have 3 packages and a bunch of packages and boxes of 1 and 2. Usually a baby stays in newborns between 2 weeks and a month. Depending on the size they can go longer

Gabe was to small for ones but he grew out of newborns quick. some babies never wear newborns tho just depend on your chunky

depends on your baby on how big they are when they're born. you can always get some newborn diapers, keep the receipt and most stores will let you exchange them for a different size even if you don't have the receipt

it all depends on the size of the baby. my nephew couldn't fit in a size 1 for 4 months after being born. my friends daughter she was born and already fit a size 1.

my son was way to small for size 1s. he's just now getting in those at 2 months lol

I got one box of newborns but am stocking up on size 1 and up. I think you did right!
