To all the mommies out there struggling with a child in the NICU your not alone! Some say we had it easy because we have to deal with the first days home blah blah blah...in reality we have it difficult. We didn't get to do the full bonding like mothers who got to come home with their child, we didn't get to hold her/him after being born like you, I personally didn't get to hold either one of my kids. My oldest was not held my anyone until she was almost 2 weeks before she was able to be held and then it wasn't able to cuddle or hold like a normal newborn. She had to stay laying straight or turned outward for the longest time -close to month and half-

before we could even hold her properly and by that time she had grown use to not being held and still to this day isn't much on hugs, cuddles, or anything. We to this day still struggle with issues, eating and several other issues. She is a strong happy Lil girl, and will move mountains just like all other children her age!

we had that trouble to at first. expecially when someone new had on anything doctor related she got scared. she is 4 now n had to have IV for test about 2 weeks ago and she no longer freaks out or cries when they stick her. it was extremely hard to watch but now it's a breeze for shots n all needles n pokes.
