no it doesn't. this is what it looks like,  the bottom one is their old carseats and which they screamed in every time, the top one is their new ones and they do great in, no it doesn't come out but with their stroller I didn't need to have removeable carseats

I got the evenflo triumph lx platinum for my boys! it's convertible, goes from 5lbs to 65 lbs it's front and rear facing

@hermommy,  does it grow with them? I'm hoping to only have to buy one car seat with an extra base to just put in my husbands vehicle.
