Had some spotting this morning-never happened in my first pregnancy so of course I'm a bit freaked.…

Here's my experience with bleeding but it isn't common and most nurses who don't know my history don't get concerned when I call in just for spotting but I've had an abruption with my last 2 pregnancies at 35 and 38 weeks. This time I had spotting around 19 weeks and it has been on and again since then. I'm 30 weeks now and have been told I have a chronic abruption and will deliver by 37 weeks.

@csp0355, so sorry! See that's part of why I want to take it easy-I woke up spotting-didn't do anything to possibly cause it.

@mommagotbump16, that's how mine started but I also had cramping. My bleeding didn't stop by lunch so I went to the Dr and had an ultrasound that shower blood on top of my cervix. I had bleeding at 23, 27 and now at 30 weeks too. I've been given 2 rounds of steroids and so far baby is behaving. My doctors didn't say I needed bed rest just no strenuous activities or heavy lifting.

I know a little light spotting can be completely normal in some pregnancies. I see high risk doctors now but before switching if I called the normal nurse line they wouldn't be concerned unless it was filling a pad so I would try not to worry too much.

Definitely trying not to. Problem is I was still cramping pretty badly from diarrhea last night and this morning, so I really can't tell if I was or not. I'm just gonna be careful. Thanks @csp0355 hope everything keeps going smoothly for you from now on!

I had spotting around 24 weeks and I had never had it before. It was a one time thing and hasn't happened since but it definitely scared me!
