Like all the other ladies said. I got three stitches & was very nervous about it, but didn't really feel it. I was distracted by how bloated my daughter looked lol.

everyone says it doesnt hurt bc it numbs you right away

Only if you have a tear... I didn't so I didn't have to get stitched and yes it does go in your spine @savysavage0

I had an epidural which was a god send because I ended up having a cervical tear and needed a bunch on internal stitches. They thought I was gonna have to go to operating room but since I had the epidural I literally felt nothing, stitched me up right in the delivery room. Completely pain free. Next one I will 100% be getting the epidural.

I had a severe labia tear so they put 4 stitches I think. First pregnancy and he weighed 7.6 and I had epidural so I didn't really know how hard I was pushing lol

don't be scared after you have your child your mind goes to them you don't pay attention to whats going down there

my daughter came so fast I tore but they numb me down there so I barley even felt it

I had stitches with my first with no epideral just pain killer in my iv and the stitches were the worst part for me. My daughter was early and only weighed 4lbs 14oz so pushing wasn't too horrible anyways. But I've had 2 more since then both bigger and haven't had to get stitches so it's possible you won't need any.

Depends on if you tear. My epidural didn't work with my son, so I pushed really hard to get him out because the pain was so bad and ended up getting like 60 stitches down there. Trust me though, they are nothing compared to labor lol.
