The Metformin is going good...not too many issues other then when i initially started taking it. Everything has been dandy!

I have PCOS & I don't get why I have to take birth control & metformin at the same time? isn't birth control supposed to stop you from ovulating & metformin is supposed to help you ovulate? This is so frustrating. I just want to be able to get pregnant..
