I know exactly what you mean!! That is so me. 😂 c-sections are a longer recovery but I loved mine! I don't mind the scar either...

but I really don't want to risk all that comes with a natural birth ... and I just cannot picture me having her that way. when I try and envision it all I can seem to see is an operating room. blue sterile drapes. and me right there ready and waiting. but I cannot picture myself in a room full of people - totally exposed , legs wide open, everyone's eyes on my crotch ... and me going through one of the most painful experiences a human can face ... its just not me. you know?

I am right there with ya on the worrier thing. not to mention I have noooo hips. and am a pretty small person in general. while adalyn's daddy towers over me by a foot and outweighs me by 100 lbs normally. my mom was in labor with me for 18 hrs and they still ended up doing an emergency csection... so I am really leaning that way. plus I don't deal with internal pain such as cramps nearly as well as I deal with cuts and stitches... I just don't want a bad scar. :/

I actually chose to have a c-section because I was terrified of the complications that could occur with natural birth like her cord being around her neck, being turned the wrong way and them having to break her shoulder... I am a worrier so I thought it'd be safer and better planned to have a c-section! It was the best choice for me, and my c-section was AMAZING!! I didn't have to have pain meds, but I have a super high tolerance for pain. Everyone else that I've spoken to said that their c-section was the worst experience ever, so I know that it differs for everyone! My doctor is known for his amazing cesarians though. ❤️

lol. I can only imagine. well hopefully it will be sooner than later. I am terrified of having a natural birth and still haven't discussed it with my doctor... was your first csection as well?

@jessilee318, Yes, I only have 24 days left until I have my c-section. I'm hoping she decides to come even before then! 😂 I am so miserable.

oops. nvm 24 days. I see. lol. lucky. I got 9 weeks. :/ and she already feels too big for my tummy.

aw. I have had the name adalyn rayne picked out since week one of finding out about our baby. ( I was crossing my fingers for a little girl since her daddy already has a little boy ) love the name novah too. very unique.
