I need to get a pump so bad!!! my boobs are engorged. :(

You can get one through your insurance or WIC

I need to wait to get ahold of them and they say they won't give a pump until you breastfeed for a month.. I can't wait that long. :(

They will give you a hand held one for now at least mines will then you'll get your pump

I got mine when my daughter was a couple weeks old.

I would be nursing as much as possible until you are able to get a pump, so your supply doesn't drop.

Hand express for now.

right her stomach isn't big enough to eat as much as I produce she's only like 3 days... :( and then I just leak milk down my side when she decided Shes done. @aeb3

technically, you're not supposed to pump until after 6 weeks. that's when your milk regulates & you can give yourself over supply, which can cause clogged ducts & mastitis (both very painful). So, if she's nursing on demand, you could just express some by hand to relieve yourself in between feedings. you'll stop being so engorged within a few days or so, it, it doesn't last too long normally.

whenever you leak down your side like that or express by hand, do it in a cup/bottle & save it lol don't want to waste none of that stuff!
