When you say time out, what if they don't listen?

@junesmommy15, I put my kids on timeout everytime. my 6 year old will get loud and I'll just go get her tablet and tell her.. I will donate it to a child that respects their parents LOL then she comes to reality.. sits in the corner for 6 min and we are all good..

what works is when you eliminate distractions no tv should be on.. they should be put in timeout in seperate corners for however old they are.

That's what we did with 3+ children at the daycare. They didn't act right even then. I always had to send them out of my class because that got to the other kids.

@junesmommy15, aww man its so hard when you have to implement that with other peoples children because in the long run.. you have no idea what or how these children are being disciplined at home if there is any.. I was a kindergarten teacher at a day care when i was 19.. when I had a child be disruptive I had little strategies to get the child to want to behave.. I was always calm and always stuck with the approach in a firm but gentle manner.. example I was reading a book at circle time.. one child decided to get very loud so I stopped the story and asked him can you tell me who the main character is.. he said IDK. I then explained to him that if he were to listen then he would know.. I then asked him what he wanted to do after reading time.. he said play outside.. I told him if you can listen to the story and not talk thats exactly what we will do.. I have him a little bit of independence and it actually worked out.. when a child has trust in you things go alot better. I hope the children at daycare get better for you ♡

You know she's not my favorite at all but it's obvious she has bigger issues with her mom that aren't public... But she needs to speak to her own daughter about treating her Gma like that !
