Last night my MIL basically told me I am supplying my daughter drugs and she will come out addicted and have to be weaned off it and suffer from headaches. I don't drink that much coffee since getting pregnant. I used to drink like 4-5 cups a day now I drink 1 maybe 2 depending on the day. Some days none. I told her the doctors said it was fine,but all day I have felt like I have spent 6 months harming my child. Oh the btw my MIL has never been pregnant.

You can have a cup of coffee a day and i don't think it's terrible if you have two

She says just one is bad and that my daughter will be addicted,because caffeine is like a drug. she drinks coffee too.

I just kept saying well the doctors said it's fine,but I'll ask again. She also said coffee will breastfeeding is bad. All I know is it love my daughter,but I also love my morning coffee on bad days.

Doc said up to 200mg was fine. Don't go over 1 or two cups and you're golden. Just watch your intake from food if you're already drinking that much.

food intake? I try to counter the coffee with lots and lots of water.

my boys are fine never fussed unless they were hungry or needed to be changed and I drank coffee and soda during my pregnancy. my doc even told me to have some caffeine cuz I was getting migraines. just needed to drink more water which I drank tons of water anyways so it was fine

I drank coffee, and Pepsi just about every single day my whole pregnancy. My son came out perfectly fine
