I think once your in the 2nd trimester. just make sure it's one that doesn't have the strong chemical smell, and do it somewhere in a open room if you are doing it yourself.
I did it my whole pregnancy 😂 I box dye it so I just went outside and did it so I wasn't inhaling it and I know for people that go to the salon you can ask for them to open a window and turn a fan on pulling the air out! My doctor never had an issue with it as long as I don't do it a lot and do it in a open space!
It starts at week 13 You can ask for semi-permanent which just doesn't have the ammonia and in my opinion last about as long if you want to be safe. :) if you do get permanent color do not do it more than 3 times while you are pregnant just to be on the safe side. I have lots of grey and if I wasn't able to at least touch up roots with semi permanent I would have a fit. :)

You aren't supposed to until you are in your second trimester. I asked my dr a few months ago. Besides the ventilation problem it is almost impossible to keep it from touching your scalp (which is why you have to wait).

Ive always died my hair while pregnant. with this little man i was around 8 wks. just make sure its well ventilated.

Just use ammonia free hair dye. They have it at Sally's Beauty Supply store.
