Does anyone know if you can request an early induction because of pain and discomfort? I can barely walk and am getting very strong tightenings and back pains regularly but not that strong that it could be active labour. It's been going on for a week and slowly getting worse. My partner has had to take unpaid leave to look after me because I can barely do anything physical. I've been driven to tears because it's so frustrating😞

I would go and see the hospital hun they will assess you @mamapop

It sounds like a back to back labour they take forever I felt terrible for weeks prior to labour and was constantly contracting @mamapop

I saw the midwife on Monday and she said that she was 4/5ths engaged and in the right postition so not back to back. I just don't want to go to be sent away again. I'm not sure how much longer I can cope with the pains. Paracetamol doesn't help and shying away from a hot bath because I've read it can slow things down 😞

@mamapop, aww ok well if head is that far engaged you ain't got long sweetie..... but again if the pain is too much go and see the hospital and tell them it's too much !! ur classed as full term at 38 weeks anyway I think x

@mrsripper, yeah I'll see how long I can hold out for so I've got less chance of being sent back home. I think it's just taken a huge toll on my body because I was quite small before I got pg x

Ur physio should put in a app for consultant to decide my sis friend got induced at 38 due to not being able to walk xx
