So first time mom here and I was wondering if anyone else is having or had the same problem I'm currently dealing with. I'm 37 weeks I'll be 38 on Sunday and I have been in constant pain that goes from feeling like period cramps to my stomach feeling like its being stretched past its limits. On top of that I'm having more discharge than normal but it's like snot but no blood no constant leaking, just pain and snot like discharge. Any thoughts on what I should do??
Thanks girls for the advice! I'm really worried so ima go get checked in the morning since it's 2:30am and I need to try to get some sleep and relax to see if that helps some. Right now my daughter is just moving all about and it's driving me crazy lol. :)
So it will come out in like a snot like form? From what I have read it comes out in like chucks of goo or one big one so I thought it could be just normal discharge. Most likely I'll go to the ER if resting doesn't help because my obgyn goes between three towns here and I won't be able to see him until Monday or waiting until my appointment with him Tuesday. It's just getting hard to work let alone walk around with the pain because it won't stop unless I'm not moving.
Maybe your mucus plug is coming out, thats what it seems like..that happens a little before labor
@stefanisharp, im havinh those same issues.. im due in 3 days... i have talked to my OB about it, she assured me its all "normal" as long as contractions are not 5mins apart, pain is increasing or im not bleeding.. it sucks.. the baby seem fine.. his movement haven't changed.. i first started seeing the "snotty discharge" at 35 weeks.. and im still 1 cm 😳😐😐, but i would definitely get chckd out asap bcus every female body is different. . and fyi you can lose your plug more than once, if its snotty thats a sign u are only losing a little at a time... a big goo of it could possibly mean it was the whole plug.. and it can grow bck if it come out to early.. (not saying thats your case being you are close to your due date).. good luck, hope u feel better and baby is ok
