BODILY FLUIDS TMI WARNING:

BODILY FLUIDS TMI WARNING:

To your knowledge, what can cause a pregnant woman (32 weeks) to experience a small amount of bloody (pink) thick mucus, coming out vaginally? I noticed it after wiping after I went potty. I googled it and all over it says that it could be my mucus plug coming out, also known as a bloody show, a precursor to labor. I'm not having contractions, or cramps, and baby is still moving just fine. Called the 24hr OB line and the Dr. on call didn't seem worried. He said, "sometimes things like this can just happen and we don't know why. Just keep an eye on it." I'm not really satisfied with that answer... Anyone experienced anything like this?

I know I've posted this before but when your water was leaking did it stay leaking or just with movements or what? Did you get contractions shortly after or no? I rolled out of bed and felt warmth leak out but Idk if it was possibly urine or what...never had it happen. It didn't smell like anything really...I know I should either call l&d or go in but I just want some experiences please. I want to wait a bit just in case it's nothing.

Is it rude to not want anyone at the hospital?

Is it rude to not want anyone at the hospital? I was just informed that my MIL wants to be waiting at the hospital so as soon as I pop out the baby she can rush in to be with the baby. I am really a private person and dont really want anyone at the hospital when I give birth (except my husband). I was planning on calling all the family to come to the hospital once I was all cleaned up and ready for visitors. Am I being rude? How do I tell them I dont want visitors a minute after pushing out a baby?! I would like some private time for just my husband & I!
