Girl you have every right to be snooping! Relationships should be 100% honest and open and if he is texting someone you don't know about and messages are missing then you have every right to look into it. In relationships there's a clear line between privacy and secrets. Privacy is letting you know he is texting a girl and asking you to trust him. Secrets are texting someone and deleting messages and not telling you about it at all. I definitely think you should call the number and see who it is, just get a name and look her up on Facebook or even just ask how she knows your boyfriend. Don't accuse her of anything just get the information you need and confront him.

I would tell him before whoever the person is tells him. hormones are crazy, so it makes sense you could behave a little irrationally. I have looked through my husband's phone pH occasion, but it was usually right in front of him so I could ask him whatever I wanted to ask him. he knows I'm uncomfortable with a few women from his past, and while yes he occasionally talks to them, he just is honest about it. because of his honesty I never worry about what those conversations might be about, even if I have the urge to snoop. but the worst part about what is happening here is that you went behind his back, and usually in situations like that it is very hurtful. I mean, you're upset about this conversation happening without your knowledge right? not being up front with him is just adding to the problem. I hope your husband is the kind of guy who will be honest with you whenever something like this gets confronted. good luck.

part of the convo was deleted? sounds fishy to me. I would of done the same thing but I would of also said to my husband ummm who is this? and where is the rest of the convo? waited for a response and went from there I definitely would of the number in my phone so I can go back and check again or call them myself if his answer was fishy..my mom used to tell me all the time if you go looking for something be prepared for what you may find!. hope it turns out to be nothing I know the feeling tho and its no joke especially when your pregnant.

A lot of people would probably disagree with me but I see nothing wrong with this at all. Some people are big on trust and not invading privacy. My boyfriend and I both trust each other but we both have the understanding we can pick up each other's phones at any time and go through them. Neither of us have anything to hide.

Well, while I do think your gut is usually right, maybe you should have just written the # down, and then asked him about it first. That way if he answer sounds fishy, THEN you can look deeper into it. What did they say??
