So today I had an appointment to talk to a lady, and she believes I have postpartum depression.. But I had my son almost 4 months ago. Could I get that this late after having my son?

@mommytodelmar, did they give you a prescription? Force yourself to get up as hard as it is and as bad as you dont want to… They gave me an anti anxiety, I changed my diet to cut out as much processed food as possible, exercise(even if its only a little bit) sleep whenever baby did, and excuse myself (even if it means my son cried for a couple minutes) to breath... you just have to remember it WILL get better…

No, all she said was she thinks I have it and that's it. I can't even sleep, I just lay in bed and pretty much look at the wall and wait for my son to wake up. @b3autifulm3ss

oh and seriously find someone that you can just BITCH your little heart out ALL judgment aside! Just let how you feel out… no matter how bad you think it sounds, your feelings are your feelings, you can't change the way you feel you just have to get it out and find a way to change the way you feel….

@mommytodelmar, I have clinical depression as well as high anxiety and it hit me hard after my daughter was born and my doctor had me get back on my venlafaxine which treats depression and anxiety. I recommend talking to your primary health care provider about what medications are available for you as well as listening to @b3autifulm3ss 's advice as it was spot on.
