Tomorrow my daughter is going to my MILs so that someone is watching her while my husband and I go to the hospital to be induced on Sunday. I wanted to spend time with her today but she skipped her nap and went to bed early :(

I'm so scared she is going to feel like her baby brother is more important because I will have to show him more attention than her for a little bit.. I don't want her to resent her brother but most of all, I don't want her to think mommy doesn't love her! HELP 😢

I am having the same problem! I'm due with my second in 6 weeks and their daddy is out of state getting established so we can move there in may... so its just gonna be me Ava and the new baby and I'm worried about how she will act 😲

oh yeah...two is going to be a little more difficult for her to understand. :/ maybe get her a new special baby doll of her own to care for while you are caring for brother so she feels like she's helping and being a big girl? for Christmas I got my daughter a bunch of new babies and ALL the accessories (stroller, car seat, bath, potty....everything!) bc she kept seeing all the stuff brother was getting and kept asking if she could use it too...so now she can...use her own with her dolls and she feels like a little momma as well. it's so cute to see her doing what she thinks I will be doing with brother 😍

@kermi86, she is 2. She's super excited he's coming home soon. I just know she doesn't know how much work he's gonna be lol

that's how I feel about my son but I just continue to talk to him so when his brother is born he will see and know. I include him in everything also.

just try to include her in taking care of him, like let her hold him and the bottle some times she'll understand :)@mrsxbrownx

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

lillyb Good job giving ur self a break we all need them. See if maybe she will nurse
delete____ I have to commend you for stepping away, momma!! Everyone reacts to a child screaming differently and
imisssleep123456789 Ugh I remember those days. With both kids I decided to always top them off with formula.
