Ok question.....Do you think picking god parents is necessary? And if so, how do you choose? My husband and I don't have friends we trust enough for that....So I'm not sure on this one.....

yes. just go to a lawyer and have the papers written up. or write them yourself and have them not eroded @babyboubou

@jjordan86, can I or it in writing and not tell anyone so no one's feelings are hurt maybe? or just tell the ones I put so they know but keep it discreet. I know my mom and she would get butt hurt about it but her hubby hits her and I can't have my kid raised around that

My hubby and I chose a married couple we are good friends with. they wanted children but she is unable to concieve. I didn't want to burden my mother because she has done her job rearing her children she should be able to enjoy her late age without having to rear my children also. @babyboubou

@jjordan86, I don't think it would be the same manner per say but it would be better than an orphanage. @lil_bigmama that's my issue I don't want my mom to be hurt, but I wouldn't want her to raise my kid :/ I'm not one to hurt feelings so I think that's why I'm so torn

if you feel they will rear your child in the same manner you would, then yes and get it in writing so there is no confusion if it should happen @babyboubou

I think it is very important. if life the unexpected happens. if something happens to your so, you want responsible, trust worthy couple to rear your child as if you would.
