Alright ladies. I need help. Badly. My son will be two tomorrow (👏😭) but he is so violent. He thinks its ok to hit me, throw things at me, slam me in doors, he laughs at me when I tell him no and trys so hard to physically hurt me. He even pulled a dresser drawer out on my foot and now it is swollen and black and blue. I think he re broke something I had broke by a horse. I've had horses step on me and it hasn't bothered me. (he is like this with others too. Adults and children). Time out doesn't work, explaining why its bad doesn't hurt, I even tried a spanking one time and that didn't work. He went right back and did it again. People tell me his just being a kid but for a two year old I think that's a little wrong. No violent play, no violent movies, nothing like that. I can not figure out where he learned this behavior. Any ideas

my little brother growing up was like this, to the point of hurting himself if he couldn't get at you, he would be put in his room and he would throw his toys at the door while screaming so my mom would reach in and pull the toy out untill he had nothing left to throw. it was this phase it sucked and we just had to get through it. my dad was a spanker and he still was a terrible two year old. maybe clear out his room and when he misbehaves stick him in there maybe he will eventually get the message just be consistent. even if he hit and then says sorry. nope sorry you hit you go to your room. my little brother when he had nothing left would beat his head on the carpeted floor untill he had little blood speck on his forehead some two year old are just crazy... he's a pretty normal adult now lol hopefully it will pass for you too

If I take toys he destroys stuff and he barely eats so I can't take food away

@proudmomma14 omg yea I would say hit him back too, but not so hard where it leaves a mark. don't want that doc reporting something false.😒 maybe take all his toys from his room? skip a favorite meal until he cries for it, and make it known that feeling he's having is what it's like when he hurts mommy.

Pops don't work. He cry's for a second grabs the nearest object and throws it or hits you with it. AMD for a two year old he has left bruises on me.

With my little sister when she first turned 2, she'll be 3 in may, we would give her a pop and say no anytime she hit back or bit or anything and she stopped. In my opinion it's ok to discipline with pops. There's a difference between abuse and discipline. And honestly I think that's what's wrong with a lot of youth today😒. Not starting anything it's just an opinion.

My son was like that when he was that age he would try and bite me. I would bite his ass back so he knew how much it hurt. He stopped doing that to me. Boys are rough you have to teach him not to act like that towards you. If he hits you just cry like he really hurt you then he will realize that he is hurting you.

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.

ekko I see both sides. However, if you both work and him taking off one day isn’t going
2sweetie I’ve never asked my husband to take a day off when I’m sick. I just deal with
boymama523 He gets the choice to call off if he’s overwhelmed or sick. You (all us mommas) don’t.

so my mom was telling me I should give my son baby cereal at night because at night is when he wants to eat the most. I haven't done it yet but who thinks its okay I was thinking doing it when he's two months!??
