you could luck out and they may do one before 18-20 weeks. your ob will talk about an ultrasound when they see you, they'll tell you right before your appt is over and you go to schedule. so fingers crossed you'll get another one right around 9 Or 12 weeks. which I think YOU SHOULD, because around those week you'll be able to see baby, and baby will have their hand nubbies and feet nubbies.

I know, it's a sucky wait. :( they may do one in the middle, though. my first ultrasound was at 9 weeks, which I lucked out because I would've had to wait til 12 weeks bc that's usually when my ob likes to check to get past all the percentages of loss and whatnot. but maybe your office is different. did they not give you a paper agreement showing when you'd have ultrasounds? @mommytobe953

most likely you'll have another one at 18-20 weeks. it depends on what your Insurance covers. Ive only had 3 ultrasounds through my doctor. one at 9 weeks, one at 20 weeks. and my recent one was 28 weeks. my last one was for placenta placement purposes though, but we still got a chance to see the baby. and we paid for an ultrasound session at 15 weeks to find out the gender, but it wasn't through my doctor
