I'm the baby and I didn't feel like the favorite ever until I reached young adulthood lol. It's not so much the affection that makes me feel that way, especially since I'm not very affectionate with anyone other than my husband and daughter, but like you mentioned the connection, but I now am starting to feel that fade.
I'm 19, 20 next month and I still feel this way , I wish I had a better relationship with my mother since I do live with her but she and my sister are. joined at the hip plus every time we talk its like she gets upset with me for no reason

Yeah. I think as parents we've gotta try our hardest not to show that. You're gonna love your kids for different reasons & that is certainly okay.
