Is this something around baby's neck or am I just seeing something else from the ultrasound?

did the doctor seem concerned? maybe umbilical cord

She didn't mention it at all, so I wasn't sure if she either didn't see it or if it was an okay thing @icie88

@torinicole.t, you can always call ask they keep a copy too but if she didn't seem worried I wouldn't be

I'd mention it to your ob at your next appointment

always better to be safe than sorry. if you have concerns or worries with your baby it's fine to ask questions. :)

At my OB the sonographer won't tell you anything. She only performs the ultrasound and gives them to my doctor. At my next OB appointment my Dr. discusses the results, if anything is concerning. I would call and ask if you're worried. I was told that they were sending me to a specialist because they didn't ,"see everything they needed to see." After I thought about it I didn't understand why I needed a specialist and tried to just re-do the ultrasound at my normal OB. (They couldn't see The gender) The assistant then informed me that they MIGHT have seen abnormalities. I freaked out but all is well. Don't listen to the assistant just your doctor. They might refer you to a specialist for a better view if they are concerned☺

@ddrake, yeah they actually did that to me before earlier in my pregnancy and I see my doctor right after the ultrasound and she didn't anything about this. All she mentioned is that he's a little big at this point and try to eat less sugar.

You could always just ask☺ I have an ultrasound that has something that looks similar by my baby's face but it's just her arm. If they didn't mention it I would try not to worry but definately ask just to be on the safe side and for your knowledge.

sometimes they don't tell you stuff so you don't panic, I'm sure it was noticed and if its the same at your next ultrasound they might address it then or continue to keep an eye on it. @torinicole.t
