if an opk comes back with a faint line, other than the control line, does that mean you're close to ovulating?! I took 3 of them at different times today, because I'm obsessed, and they all have a faint test line.

Yes, that means you're close to ovulation. Assuming you're trying for a baby, if it's possible have sex tonight. Take another test tomorrow and see if the line gets darker also. If it's as dark as the control line then you're close to ovulating sooo basically from now until the next like 3 or 4 days try having sex every day if you can. It's not a gaurentee for anything but at least you and your SO are doing your parts. Good luck!
