I don't get paid, it's hard but I do have monet saved

Unpaid I saved up money before going on maternity leave I saved about 100-200 every paycheck

My maternity is unpaid but my "rollover" period is right before baby is born so I'll have sick days, vacation days & personal days that I get to use while I'm on leave that way I will still get a paycheck.

unpaid, what I would do (this is what we are doing) when you get your tax return, set back a weeks worth or pay, I'm setting back $500 and hubby is setting back $500, that way he can take 2 weeks of FMLA and we don't have to worry about a thing. just set it back and don't touch it. ☺

I can be off the full term because of FMLA, I just wouldn't get paid. So since I have built up PTO, I'll be able to get paid. You'll have to talk to your HR department, they will explain everything to you.

I get like 40% of my paycheck each week, which is crappie but better than nothing. then I'm using my vacation and personal day time also, that'll be paid time off.

mine will be unpaid. we will be using tax money. plus we are stocking up on supplies before baby comes. nice thing is I am breastfeeding so that one expense we don't need to worry about plus hubby will pick up extra hours

Also if you are full-time, you may be able to apply for short term disability. Your HR department will be able to give you info.

mine is paid because I'm using all my personal and sick days. I'm a teacher and after working there for 12 years I have enough days to cover my leave. Thank God.

@bmedwards, unpaid FMLA, no short term or paid vacation so I will be using my tax return took out a hardship loan from my 401K and stocked up on everything before baby gets here and I'm nursing. Just praying it will all work out

4 weeks paid

I get 6 weeks unpaid and hubby only gets 4 days unpaid.

Mine isn't even paid. I have to use vacation time. as does he if he wants to take time off. 😒 so lame.
