please please sign the petition for Paid Maternity Leave

More than half of new mothers in the U.S. lack any paid leave to care for their new babies. In fact, 1 in 4 women are going back to work just TWO weeks after giving birth!

- 80 percent of Americans say they support

paid family leave, yet only 3 states have paid family and medical leave insurance. We need a national paid leave policy.

- The U.S. is the only industrialized country that does not mandate paid leave for mothers (or fathers) of newborns. This is outrageous!

I don't qualify for paid family leave/state disability insurance 😭 I'm so sad
