Well with my first I never did lose my mucus plug and I'm only dilated 1/2 cm

not to kill your hopes. but I have read and been told with my last 2 babies that the plug regenerates itself. so it can come out and regenerate. this is why its said to not go with this as a sign of labor. unless like my first I was clearly in labor due to contractions and a huge (size of my hand] mucus plug came out with bloody show. it definitely means your body is opening though
