So my boyfriend and I are due in April and we've decided to name our daughter Mahala Marie Wright. What do you guys think about her name? Is it too original? I know it doesn't matter what other people think but I'm worried people are gonna be like "what kind of a name is that" lol so I want your honest opinions. It means tenderness in Hebrew and free in African and we're pronouncing it the exact way it looks, MA-HA-LA. Thanks in advanced!

I like it but can see people saying Mahalo sometimes since that's a pretty common similar word. May or may not bother her one day.
I love it..!! But my husband and I specifically named our children names that others couldn't bash and chop when pronounced because we have had to deal with it our whole lives lol
