❓Has anybody got primrose oil tablets ok'ed by their dr? Also any advice on when to take? How to take orally? Vaginally? And did it work?
Ya never know lol fingers crossed it's easy this time as well for both of us ☺ @southernmama4
😊 yup sign me up for that labor experience! @mshort44
@southernmama4 that was my second delivery this one will be my third and I plan to take it again. That was a perfect experience! My labor didn't even last 5 hours from first contraction until he was born. I felt like a million bucks lol I had to get up to go see him and I just couldn't wait. No stitches needed either thank God!
Awesome!! Ur experience sounds perfect! Lol thanks @mshort44
It definitely helped a lot and my doctor recommended it. I even dilated faster when my labor started. Then I was up walking 15 mins after I had my son lol
I took it starting at 35 weeks ☺
Ok!! I feel like I can call the dr now! Lol I hope I haven't waited too long for it to work tho!! & they are at lunch but I will call ASAP! Thanks bunches:)
Lol, yes she said it is 100% fine she recommends it a lot, especially to girls who are trying to lean towards castor oil for self inducing. I do know some doctors who make people wait until like 37-38 weeks because they think some women's bodies react differently to it, but my doctor and I agreed that it does take some time to work so it's best to start kinda early to get the "full benefits." I'm basically using it to help with tearing, and everything, since it's supposed to aid in minimal to no tearing, she did say if this was my first baby she would make me wait until like 35 weeks at least, but if this isn't your first and you didn't go into preterm labor then it's fine. plus you said you're 36 weeks so it should be fine.
Great info. That makes sense how ur taking them!! I got some but I keep talking myself outta taking them. Lol i guess Bc it's something I've never tried. Also I'm extremely picky about medicine & would like to ask my dr before I take it but I feel like they would tell me not to take them so I'm scared to ask lol but with ur case ur dr said it was ok right? @their.bomb.ass.mom
I just started taking mine literally last night. I'm starting low though then working my way up. She said I could take them starting now since they don't induce just help thin you out overtime, and since with my first I went to 40 weeks anyways, I'm not a big risk for going into preterm labor. I told myself I'd start next week, but I got anxious. So far, my plan is to take 1 1000 mg capsules a day, (there are 500mg and 1000mg I believe but I didn't see 500 where I went), then at 36 weeks 2 a day, then at 37 week 2 a day and 1 vaginally, at 38 weeks 2 a day and 2 vaginally, and just kinda up it from there.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Yess! Thanks @mshort44 & I hope the best for u!
