Found out yesterday I will most likely have to have a csection because I am expecting twins. I am freaking out! I almost fainted thinking about it. please give me advice!! do they fully knock you out? how long is the recovery process any info greatly appreciated!!
@dontberidiculous, it is because I have had previous births before . two beautiful daughters he didn't really specify just that its the safest method of delivery in case the babies are not in the correct position for birth
If you would rather do vaginal then you should talk to your Doctor about that and make a plan. Obviously if there are any medical concerns or if Baby A is breech it won't matter but at this point you are in control of the outcome and just having twins is not a reason to do a c-section.
yikes I have two daughters I had normally already I'd rather do it that way but everyone who has had a csection say that it was easier than pushing yikes I'm still scared though
I'm expecting Twins and my Doctor and I have a plan to do a vaginal birth as long as Baby A is head down. Did your Doctor give you a reason why you would need to have a C-Section?? Many twins are delivered vaginally just fine. My doctor said we will deliver in the O.R. with an epidural in case I have to have a C-Section for some reason.
I had a c-section I couldn't feel anything from my head down but after I definitely felt the pain they had me on medication they helped alot but also made me super tired
Yes, IF baby A is not head down then vaginal birth won't work out. If baby A is then you should be fine to go ahead with vaginal. Just talk to your Doctor about your options and make a plan that suits you. It will all work out.
