I've had 5 because I paid for a 4d at 15 weeks and had to come back another time for the anatomy but I think they only give u 3:(

@punkin.baee, I feel for it now. not sure how it's gonna be soon. thank you sweety. every mother, that carry's a baby are very strong. every woman has to go through something different during pregnancy. with my first pregnantcy I didn't get many sonograms. this pregnancy is high-risk and there's only one placenta. so they definitely have to keep a close eye on everything. it's a very scary situation. nothing I ever expected to go through, or my babies to go through. :( but I'm praying for good news today at the doctors.

@punkin.baee, are you on medicaid, or do you pay for own insurance? I had medicaid with my first pregnantcy, and they weren't even gonna tell me the gender. I didn't feel like I was treated for well being on medicaid, compared to paying for my own and getting a good doctor.

@shannaa24, That's The Thing I Have Two Choice Of Insurance , I Have Medicaid & TriCare .. So I Believe Ima Look Into It , Because That's Not Fair , & They Didn't Want To Tell Me My Baby's Gender Either ..

@punkin.baee, its very ridiculous how medicaid treats people. my doctor wasn't gonna tell me the gender. the was another guy in my room doing the sono who told me. I don't feel like anyone being on medicaid should be treated any differently then any other insurance. I couldn't afford insurance then. and if my husband didn't have income, I couldn't afford my insurance for me and my son. my husband doesn't have any. I pay over $400 a month on insurance. my deductible is over $6000. and I have that amount to pay after having my babies towards the hospital. but good news is, that all 3 of kids can be on the insurance and it won't go up any. I tried to get my son on medicaid before getting this job, they said I made too much. just, me paying my bills, childcare, is too much. I couldn't do it on my own. I would be stuck. the whole system is f-up. with my son I was dropped after 6/ weeks. they pushed all my dental appointments back so I couldn't go. so for the longest time. I had to go without insurance. and apparently if you don't have it this year when you file for your refund, you gets fined. some bullshit. if people can't afford it they can't afford it. shouldn't be pressured for not having it, and denied medicaid when people really need it. or Foodstamps.

with most pregnancies you'll get 2 sonograms. 1 at the initial 6-10 wks, depending when you get in after you find out and 1 around 20 weeks for the gender.

Low risk pregnancies are typically only 2 sonograma. if there are more risks you may get more. it really depends on the doctor, too.

@punkin.baee twice. i didnt know i was pregnant until i was 4 months. So i guess i am behind. lol

with medicaid, normal pregnantcy. I got about 5 sonograms total.
