I successfully put my son to bed at a decent hour! Before he would sleep through the night, then at…

Sounds like he hit that 4 month sleep regression....we're still coming out the tail end of that at 5 months, I think she also hit a growth spurt/developmental leap though, that's why her sleep is messed up still. I try and keep her up as long as I can during the day, keep her really active....lots of floor time, tummy time, letting her role all over the place, when she gets upset and bored of that I'll feed her then try to play some more maybe with toys, maybe letting her stand while holding my hands, and just keep trying to change it up throughout the day until she starts showing tired cues like rubbing eyes and yawning, then I'll let her nap on booby for a bit. I try not to let her nap for more than an hour or two, usually when I set her down she'll wake up so I do that, she'll wake up and we'll start all over lol...if we're successful she'll go down before 11pm and stay down for at least 8 hours, if not then she'll nap early (for us) at like 8pm and then wake up and keep us up til like 3am 😔 then knock out and sleep for almost 8 hours....which sucks because then our schedule is messed up cuz I'll let her sleep so I can sleep, then we gotta slowly start again the next day by trying to wake her earlier in the day....

@hellosweetie, I do all those things besides tummy time because he screams. We still do it but he hates it. I try. My grandma is with him while I work 12 hour shifts wed thurs fri which allows me 4 days with him. His naps are getting longer but then again I'm not sure because yesterday I didn't check how long he napped for. I need him to sleep earlier because of me going to work it's exhausting to be up so late with him. Last night was great but I do t want to wake up at 5 am on my days off. It's just not a good thing. Lol! He loves to stand while me holding. Him up a little bit. He stands on his own from sitting. He wants to sit up and will sit if he's up on a pillow then rolls to his belly. Lol. Soon he will be doing all these things on his own so I don't rush him.

It's so hard to control how they sleep! If you figure out the secret to getting them to sleep early, let me know lol...until then I'll just continue to try and wear her out 😂

I think I saw the whole thing, and just by scrolling....saw it on the news feed 😜

I would try not giving him a late nap. keeping him up for a couple.more hours then put him to bed. that's what I do when I have to get up early I don't give my son a nap I keep him up and then a couple hours later he goes to bed.

I cant stop him from sleeping I try.

Yeah well I guess when they are so little they are going to sleep when they want to. maybe try to change his schedule so he goes to sleep at 8 or 9 for the night
