Has anyone ever taken the glucose 1 hour test, passed it with flying colors only to get further along in the pregnancy and be diagnosed with gestational diabetes?

nope. cause I didn't think they'd make u do it again if u passed.

yes, my sister did. she passed the 1 hour no problem, but later she had too much fluid and so they tested her again and she had it.

@maybabyboy, that's my problem ! I have too much fluid and they tested me again and I have it. None of my friends had to deal with this so they had no idea

Yes it's possible, you can develop GD at anytime during pregnancy.

@kn22919, the extra fluid runs in our family. my mom was high risk with me because of all the extra, and my sister just had a baby 5 months ago and ended up with extra fluid and gd. I'm not taking my glucose test until I'm like 27 weeks because of when my appts are scheduled, so I'm hoping I will only have to do it once.
