She is something. i feel some type of way when i have to fill out papers with her. because she is Hispanic (50% from her daddy side) and Navajo (25% from me and my mother side..and then 25% African-American from my father side) so i fill that out. but when they return her papers it says African-American...do they just go off of the way she looks.? because i was told we take our fathers race. and her she should be considered Hispanic. Am i being an unreasonable big baby or what.? some opinions please...?

@mrsmoore, i agree shenanigans i was just curious if it was just my issue or like other folks had it. so if we have more kids and they end up being way lighter skinned like my husband they will be considered white instead of African-American.?
they go off of skin color honestly ,just like if your mixed black and white your considered just black bullshit to me

My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...

Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house...
