I got an epidural and I had absolutely no problems from it and it's been 3 years and I plan on getting one with this one too

i got alot of pain meds from the hospital.didnt do shit!just helped me sleep. :( @minnie_

it just depends i havent had anything bad going with my back and its been a year since i got it, on the other hand my sister said for her when its winter her back hurts realll bad because of it but it just depends on your body

I was wide awake and saw everything...which was good. Just can't feel NOTHING from the waist down. I had my son 3 weeks ago. Got the epidural at 6cm before getting pitocin. An hr and a half later she came to check me to see if I got much further and his head was out...I was laying on my side...didn't feel a thing. The docs rushed in at 11:27pm turned me on my back...I pushed twice and he was out at 11:31pm...It doesn't make you drowsy or anything.. @minnie_

I had my son almost 3 weeks ago. The iv needle hurt more than the epidural and since then I haven't had any issues. The only problem was after delivery while it was wearing off...I was literally freezing to the point I was shaking...teeth chattering so much I couldn't talk and my jaws hurt. Couldn't hold my baby because I was wrapped up like a mummy. After all of that I was good.

and like forreal u cant keep your head up at all bc it hurts soo damn bad. i wS n the hospital in a hospital chair waitn for my 2d blood patch just crying and yelln at the top of my lungs bc it was the wrst pain of my life@minnie_

bc when you get the headaches its bc your brain fluid is dripping :/ the blood patches is they take another long ass needle take blood from your arm or wrist and gotta then stick the needle back onto your back and fill the hole up with blood and it makes blood clots and patches up the hole that went to deep or whatever from the epidural that caused the spinal headaches. then it leaves a scar that goes over the blood patch and then you feel btter.well the frst one i had didnt work so i had to have two. it was horrible!!!! and idk bout getting paralyzed. but i dont doubt it @minnie_

i got the epidural and it worked fine but i guess i moved and the needle went in wrong. it was horrible :( did u end up getting a blood patch?@reaganmommy2015

@caseysmommy, exactly I ended up having to epidural a cause the first one didn't take which is why I got the headaches thankfully I'm done having babies plus my last two I had them all natural not by choice I just went into labor really fast

yup same @reaganmommy2015. i will never get one ever again. i had to have two blood patches.them bitches suck! i couldnt move or get out of bed for almost 3 weeks! them headaches were the wrst pain of my life!

I had a very positive experience with it. I was scared , very scared about getting it because EOF everything I had heard and read about but I honestly don't know what people are talking about it wasn't what people make it to be, in my situation anyway.

I had epidural and I have absolutely no problems at all :) everyone is different alot of people like to blame little things on the epidural I was worried about it also don't worry though :)

Epidural headaches are a bitch I had one with my son and never again I wasn't able to lift my head for a month after I had him and even now I get really bad migraines
