Do i really have to get a special baby detergent? Can I just oxi clean and double rinse???

People always try to get the special detergent in case the baby is allergic, which is cool but personally I have used regular laundry soap and my kids never broke out. To each it's own though.

i used whatever, sadly my daughter got rashes & i had to get baby detergent lol i was a ftm

Try looking into the brand Method. I know quite a few parents who use that detergent for their kids clothes.

not sure about unscented fabric softener! let me know if you find some ;)

you can use All Free or other brands that are "free" of fragrances and gentle.

For my first kid doctor said draft and defiantly no dryer sheet. But I'm sure any free and clear detergent would work

Our pediatrician said unscented is good and more cost friendly than baby detergents :)

the chemicals may be too harsh on baby's skin. A gentle unscented detergent like All is dermatologist and pediatrician recommended
