Would it be weird to invite my co workers to my baby shower? There are a few that I'm really cool with but I would feel mean if I only invited a few and not others. But then I don't want to make people who aren't really cool with me feel obligated to come. And I think they are planning me a surprise work baby shower anyways...
I just posted mine at work, so that way the ball is in their court!! Obviously the few I really want Already know they are invited Forsure. That way if they wanna come, awesome and if not then I don't mind!!
Okay thanks for telling me ur thoughts. I think I will do that too. And I'll do it kind of privately and not make a big deal so people won't even hear about it. 😏
I don't think it's weird. I will be inviting just a couple of the girls that I work with, I felt the same way about leaving people out & then making them feel obligated so I just decided to invite who I felt most comfortable with!
I told my friend my mom wants to throw me a baby shower and write on the invite "monetary gifts only" and he told me that people aren't trying to pay for my "gas bill" I'm offended because a lot of money goes into a baby shower, and if you're gonna give me a 10$ blanket from Ross that I probably won't even use it's a waste. I rather use those 10$ for my honest company diaper subscription.
Ladies I have a question... Joseph's brother's wife invited me to her baby shower but we aren't close and I really don feel comfortable going bc of certain reasons. But I feel like when she asked me to come she was waiting for me to invite her to my two baby showers but I can't both host said that Jennifer nor Johnathon are allowed at their houses. What do I do about these situations😩
Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
What would you do? - baby shower
SO my mom has been very negative about the baby my entire pregnancy. Especially in the beginning, she said the most HORRIBLE things about me, my DH and my unborn baby. Like that I was making a big mistake, that I was making her 2015 the worst year ever... etc etc. Even when she would do nice things she made me feel like I was a HUGE inconvenience and a burden to her. She told me to definitely NOT expect a shower or anything like that from her. Fine, whatever...
@ana09, I figured that will be the best way to play fair. I'm sure most won't come, but hey atleast I don't have to feel bad or them be mad! Lol.
