I'm so annoyed. so my dear fur baby had a little chunk missing off one of his paw pads. he had been limping for a few days and I finally was able to get him hold still long enough to look...hubby doesn't want to take him to the vet and spend money. I love my husband but when it comes to our fur babies health he is so cheap....told me to wrap it myself and he be fine. I did wrap it to prevent the dog chewing on it further till I can get him into the vet tomorrow morning.

keep Neosporin on it and wrap it and also invest in a "lampshade" collar. we had to do it with our dog. she was chewing at her paws... it really isn't worth the money to go the vet unless it's already infected

I probably do it myself. the vet couldn't even quote me how much it could cost till they see him. ...they hubby got mad cause I hadn't vacuumed the house yet for the renters who are coming by tonight.....I'm like I got 3 hrs it be fine. uggg I'm just annoyed as hell

Could be a yeast problem. Just go buy a cheap plastic cone(the expensive ones are worthless) and soak paws in vinegar water for like 5 min then let dry. Better than what a vet can do for you.
