QUESTION: All the babies that are born this year do they count as leap year babies or only the babies born in February??

even though they may technically be born in a leap year does not make them leap year babies unless they are born on February 29th

Hi everyone! So everyone around me who has had a baby this year or is expecting soon is having or has had a baby boy- me included, due August 31st :)
Only on the 29th of feb are they a leap year baby, it's a little confusing but the 29th of feb only comes around once in 4 years, so technically they're bday won't be until another 4 years from now. But they can always celebrate the day before or after if they wish.
