Does anyone who has both exclusively breastfeed and also exclusively bottle fed noticed a difference in bonding with baby. I don't produce enough to breastfeed only. In fact she gets mostly formula. Breastfeeding is very frustrating for both of us but I haven't given it up. I sometimes pump instead to avoid the frustration. My worry is that because if it she won't form a special bond with me. I don't seem to have an ability to calm her down any better than daddy and she doesn't seem to find any more comfort in me holding her than anyone else. She's not quite 3 weeks old yet so maybe I am worrying too much but I have to go back to work in 3 more weeks and I want her to have a unique bond with me. She is my first baby...
I feel the same like she actually interacts with him and with me she just sleeps or feeds, I hope that changes but my fear is that once she starts day care it'll get worse.
I wouldn't worry too much. My son has always been obsessed with me lol I've done both breast and now he is on just formula because my supply dried up before he was 2 months old. There's been no difference for me involving how he has been fed. My son did go through a couple weeks of wanting nothing to do with anyone, but before that point and after that point he's been obsessed lol
My newborn when he was a newborn favored his dad at first. He's a year old now and he's all about mommy. I formula fed him because my diet wasn't right for his tummy. Also the more boob she has the more milk you'll make.
That could be, she has a temper and is very impatient. She has the genes for it lol
My son both breast and bottle fed, I went back to work when he was 3 days old so he bottle fed more often than breast. We still had a very close bond, I never noticed a difference in the way he looked up at me During either type of feeding.
I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
So I'm having some late pregnancy worries... What if cant comfort her? What if I don't know why shes crying? Like say we're out and shes screaming and I just don't know what she wants!! That thought scares the shit out of me!
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
Thank you ♡ that's very comforting to hear
