Warm baths and extra pillows when you rest (to kinda keep your weight off the affected side) are big helps. It's just another weird symptom.

Baby (or uterus) presses on the sciatic nerve in your back, and it sends a shooting/tingling/burning pain down into your butt and legs. I call it karma's shit rocket.
