Not sure if I want to introduce Leo to a sippy cup now or wait. I've never thought about it until the lady at wic was…

I introduced my baby at 6 months...took her a while to get used to it and it was funny the first time she got anything out lol...now she's a pro lol. we are going to work on the straw ones now.

@eskawho, I never thought about introducing him so early. He has a bit of a delay in

learning things since he was preterm.

you can always try...if he's just not interested try again later....but with my daughter it took her a few weeks to learn it...just remember the liquid will come out faster then a bottle...my daughter needed to learn between the two. now she's 10 months and loves her sippy cup...she's down to just a few bottles a day and I'm hoping it won't be to difficult to wean her at a year from her bottles. we also let her take sips from a regular cup since 6 months. it's messy but she's learning lol.

@eskawho, I might buy a couple different ones and give it a try I know my parents have given him water from regular cups before wasn't bad just definitely messy.

we only started with 2...spill proof. she didn't drink much first it was more fun for her lol. he has plenty of time to figure it out.

@eskawho, I think he would play with the cup more than anything. I just have to look for cups for his age and I'll buy three to figure how it goes

I liked the ones that had handles she did well with those.

lol I remember that...it doesn't get better...my daughter wants everything she can't have lol

@eskawho, aha he's just started doing that I can't eat with him he tries to reach for my plate.

My son has been using a sippy cup since 4 months.
