does anyone have any advice on how to lose slight weight whilst pregnant? I'm not talking super diet or cutting calories at all!! I just want some ideas on how to get more healthy and trim instead of looking like a huge pregnant mess 😂 but I also don't want to harm bump by doing anything too strenuous!! any exercise or healthy weight loss tips would be great!! thank you all 😊😊

You could also take up pregnancy pilates. I didn't go to a class but would have loved to. I done the 10 minute solutions antenatal pilates dvd and it felt like quite a workout!

If you exercised before pregnancy you're allowed to continue to exercise throughout but just adapt certain things as they get uncomfortable. I continued to exercise and use kettlebells until I had a blood clot on my lung but I would have exercised until the end if I had felt well. Obviously don't diet, continue to eat the amount of calories you need but eat healthy calories. if you're body isn't used to eating healthy food full of the stuff that you and baby need then you will naturally burn fat whilst still providing the baby with everything it needs. .

If you're hungry eat. just eat something good for you. Don't ever be hungry whilst pregnant.

Hi. I was exactly the same. loved going to the gym and focus on my nutrition. the only diet you are allowed is slimming world. however I would just focus on getting your vitamins and maybe exercise like yoga, swimming and walking. it is a fase. once your belly becomes a proper baby belly you will start to feel better about it ;) xx

@bethanyjade, I know how you feel! I was a "gym bunny" before pregnancy, I mainly enjoyed weights and bulking! I've had to give it up obviously! Also gone off healthy foods! Now all I eat is junk and processed food! Embrace it! We have an excuse to be fat pregnancy messes! We're baby growing!! Xx

@winterbaby95, yeah I know :( i just can't help feel like such a huge unhealthy mess because of my appetite increase its awful! can't imagine how I'm gonna feel when I've actually got a huge bump hahaha I dread the time 😂😂 xx

Midwives don't advise you to diet during pregnancy hun :) but eating healthy foods and exercise..such as yoga and swimming you can do :) My midwife actually asked if I was on a diet because I lost a bit of weight since the last appointment( this happened due to nausea) She was pleased to hear I wasn't on a diet x x
