So apparently when I had my c-section a week ago, no one at the hospital thought to mention to me how much blood I lost and how my iron was a 7.7, less than half. It took a week to find out and at a WIC appointment of all places. The hospital sent me home with a big bottle of little red pills that I didn't realize were iron pills so I didn't start taking them until yesterday when I found out that I was becoming anemic... hospital didn't think to mention that to me either. No wonder why I've been feeling so crappy and healing slow...
