I so feel you! I've got exactly 2 weeks left.

I got the blood test at 13 weeks to determine the sex

@skylarsmomma, really I asked about it and she won't let me do it by nurse said that I'm perfectly healthy and don't need the test like really ;/

@charitymarie, they gave me a ultrasound but it's March 14th :/ and it's killing me lol

That's weird, my doc told me about it when I was 5 weeks, he gives it to all his patients, it also depends on your insurance I think

@skylarsmomma, wait what blood test was it because they gave me some blood test January 20th. But I don't know what it was for and I called to ask and the lady said everything was normal

It's called different things in different offices, but it's a test that checks your chances for all the chromosomal stuff like downs, and trisomy 18 and 21, but it also checks for the baby's blood in your blood stream which will show more X or Y chromosomes

I got two different chromosome tests done, one at fetal assessment and one at my OB, but think of it this way, your 5 weeks away from your 2nd trimester scan, I know it feels like forever ! But you'll soon be able to find out in no time

Oh I completely understand, I started buying gender neutral stuff at 5 weeks but once I found out, the buying hast stopped lol my mom comes home with a new outfit everyday , she's already taken over my closet
