hi moms...for those of you that dont get paid maternity leave from your jobs what is your plan for…

well I'm unemployed and high risk so we rely on my husband.

taxes. i healed fast with my last so only taking two weeks off.

I'm freaking out too. Even though I'll be relying on my husband to support us. I feel bad.

My husband is working full time and may get a second part time job if needed. my job luckily is giving me whatever time i need just unpaid. and luckily it's tax season!

with my 2 older girls I was doing hair at the time so I saved all !y tips because they don't pay for maternity leave and I had enough saved up for about 2 months but went back to work after a month. I became a stay at home mom with my third daughter and my employer didn't pay for maternity leave so I'm saving half of my paychecks because i m going to be finding a new job after I have this baby.

i personally saved all my taxes to cover that time

You can't file for state leave? Because my job didn't offer it, but they told me to file thru the state

@charleemommy, im in Maryland so I'm not sure im gonna have to look into it

Yesss pls look into because I felt the same way until my co-worker told me about state leave and they will pay you.
