discomfort will go away after a few days. take pain relievers and try to relax. my advice is go to your primary doctor every month to get it checked and make sure it's still in. mine fell out but I also had mine put it at 6 weeks post partum instead of 3 months post partum bc my midwife said it wouldn't fall out and my doctor said otherwise.
