Hey all, New here and 38 weeks pregnant with our first baby! Just had a quick question, since I know no one else can sleep at 4 am either. Has anyone been induced due to high blood pressure issues. Don't have full blown preeclampsia yet but doc wants to induce at 39 weeks. Thanks!
With my first, I had gestational hypertension that never resulted in preeclampsia. I had to be on bed rest at the end and they did schedule a medical induction date. I was terrified because I didn't want to induce. Fortunately, she came 3 days before it! This may sound crazy, but look up the benefits of ingesting the father's semen. It is theorized that high blood pressure could be a result of your body reacting to the foreign DNA and that by repeatedly consuming the semen, it normalizes it. I know it sounds insane, but I did read some legitimate study on it somewhere awhile back.
I am 28 weeks and my son is already 3 pounds. I am inducing myself at 37 weeks.
for you mommy's asking 39 weeks is the NATIONWIDE standard for induction you can ask to be induced at 39 weeks if B makes it to 39 weeks I will be induced

That does sound really crazy, but my hubby would enjoy that haha I'll do some research! Thanks I'm hoping she decides to come this week on her own!
